Aubrey Johnston, a St. Louis, Missouri, native, moved to Birmingham in 2013 to attend Samford University. Aubrey completed an undergraduate degree in Human Development and Family Life Education with a minor in Sociology. Upon discerning a call to full-time vocational ministry, Aubrey pursued graduate studies at Beeson Divinity School. She received her Master of Divinity in December 2019. Throughout her time in seminary Aubrey worked various ministry jobs around the Birmingham metro area, and in June 2021 joined the Dawson Student Ministry team as the Associate Minister to Students.

Aubrey loves workout classes, backpacking or playing pickleball with friends, reading, and listening to others over a good cup of coffee. Above all else, Aubrey loves seeing women live freely in the Lord and hopes to shepherd the young women of Dawson to walk faithfully with Jesus.
