Volunteers are needed weekly to handle donations, serve customers, and provide spiritual counseling to family members that come to Kids Connection to be served. Every week 70 children receive needed physical resources and spiritual help. Each year over 3,000 children are provided an estimated 12,000 sets of clothing and other needed items.

Volunteers serving at Kids Connection will meet both the physical and spiritual needs of families with children ages birth through 16. Our goal is to meet the needs of foster children, children in single parent homes, and children referred to us by various social service organizations that have physical needs.

Location: Located in the middle of a strip shopping center at 32 Green Springs Highway, Kids Connection is between the Salvation Army store and Wing Out (formerly Pizza Hut).

When can donations be brought? Kids Connection is currently accepting donations at the Kids Connection van in Dawson's North Parking Lot. The van is open for donations every day.

When can families shop at Kids Connection? Shop hours are every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. and the second Saturday of each month from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Appointments for families will be made by the referring organization.

How can I volunteer? If you are interested in volunteering, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Joy Phillips, at kidsconnectional@gmail.com.
