Liz, an Atlanta native, moved to Birmingham to attend Samford University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English/Film Criticism. She is currently pursuing her Master of Arts of Christian Education from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Liz has worked at Dawson for over ten years. Her time at Dawson has taken her from the Recreation Ministry, to the Discipleship Ministry, and she now serves as Dawson's Minister of Outreach and Assimilation. Liz has a passion for healthy church membership and connecting people with Life Groups and service opportunities, and with the church family as a whole. Liz loves all things Jane Austen, traveling and exploring new places, getting coffee or Mexican food with friends, and hosting people in her home.
